Thankful for Gifts of the Season

There is a lot to be thankful for this year! Launching my online store was HUGE, but to finish out the last couple months of the year, I have gotten the opportunity to participate in two shows that feature my unique jewelry creations.

We kicked the excitement off with a show at the Davis Art Center in Easton, MD the weekend before Thanksgiving. The show was fabulous and featured extremely talented, local artists like Ken Sadler (pottery) and Jean Rhian (quilter), to name a couple. I find myself to be so lucky to be surrounded by individuals that possess the eye and sincerity behind their art as these artists.

Who knows, maybe this is one of the reasons I love having my studio inside the Davis Art Center where we can inspire each other on a daily basis.

It felt amazing to mingle with local artists, show off my newest designs

(I have been obsessed with pearls this year), gain insight to others’ talents through demonstrations, appreciate all types of art, and of course - sell a few pieces!

Here’s where I need a deep breath... I am coming to BALTIMORE!

Felicia Zannino-Baker, Owner and Director of Highlandtown Gallery in Baltimore, MD, has invited What Lee Sees to participate in their Holiday Show! This show features different local artists of all kinds, displaying their work throughout the Holiday shopping season.

Take a quick look into this preview of what the Highlandtown Holiday Show will offer!

The gallery is beautiful. A perfect place to truly find a unique gift for someone special.

To make these weekends in Baltimore extra special, I will be staying with my lovely niece Paige. Time with her is always cherished. Though I look forward to every opportunity to help my friends find their perfect piece of jewelry, staying with Paige and her family may be the best part of the weekend, even if it means sleeping on the couch with the cat, haha!

I invite all of my friends near the Baltimore area to check out this lovely show my new friend Felicia has organized at the Highland Gallery. Join the both of us at the gallery during the weekends of December 4th & 11th to see What Lee Sees, by me, Lee Peterson Mallory. Your presence, is a gift!

This beautiful necklace and more will be featured at the Highlandtown Gallery Holiday Show!
